CAPTURE OF TABASCO

The three-masted steamer Scorpion, leaving a considerable wake, leads the
two-masted steamer Spitfire, towing the schooner-gunboat Bonita in a dramatic dash
past Fort Iturbide toward Villahermosa.  The Bonita's crew readies a 32-pound
carronade as the Spitfire sports a canvas awning.
